Charlie is a 14 year old Morgan stallion. He is a excellent endurance horse that goes and goes, just can't seem to wear him out. He loves a challenge, weather it be water, hills or speed and action events. AND: Our grand kids can ride him.

Hi,
I am impressed with the conformation of your horse,Charlie,He looks great for his age,he has almost the same markings of a wild stallion that runs with a small heard of Brumbies here in the Australian bush.I follow the mob and use them as reference for my artwork.he influienced the "rearing Colt" ,Bronze sculpture on my web page.

Hi Wayne,
Thank you for your comment. Charlie is a fine animal and a real treat to ride.

Your Morgans that are for sale
Hello,
I saw you had an ad posted in the classified ads area - problem is that getting over to Michigan right now would be tricky! If I can figure out a way I sure will keep it in mind!

Yes it is a long way but if
Yes it is a long way but if there is a will then there is a way.
Morgans and Stamina
It always has amazed me how my Morgan gelding just never seems to wear out. A few years ago I used to go on a week long wagon train where we would ride/drive for a week (with one day off). We would often put on at least 25 miles a day. On the last day most of the horses were tired, heads were hanging and they quite clearly were ready for a brake. My Morgan though was ready to go! He was still acting the same way he was on day one!

We find the same thing, all
We find the same thing, all of our mature Morgans are like that. Guess thats why they were the calvary horse of choice.
Morgans
Yeah, I am going to have to start looking for a new Morgan someday. Mine is going to be 28 this year! He still has a quite a bit of life and I know Morgans can live a long time but the day will come when he will retire to the blissful life of a pasture ornament!

yep, they have a adverage
yep, they have a adverage active life of around 35 years. In my 40 years of being around a whole lot of different breeds of horses i have found the Morgan horse to be the horse that I would put my life on if it was a 100 years ago.... My grandkids are safe around my horses, its a lot better then when I had "Airheads"(Arabs). You know Joyce and I are both 61 years old, we have 15 Morgans that we need to sell, very high quality animals and they are priced way below their value, maybe u should look at buying a replacement horse now.
